Andrew
Mazurek has over 25 years of experience with the planning
and design of a wide variety of healthcare facilities. Andrew
has a broad background, having worked both as chief planner
and program manager for a hospital system as well as a principal
health planner for a national healthcare facilities design
firm. His specific experience includes strategic planning,
facilities master planning, functional programming, health
facility design, feasibility analysis, simulation modeling,
alternative delivery system implementation, and facilities
strategy for mergers and acquisitions. He is a member of the
American College of Healthcare Executives, the American Hospital
Association and holds architectural registration nationally
and in seven states. Andrew is active in presenting at national
and regional professional conferences and seminars and is
a guest lecturer at Virginia Technical School of Architecture
and Interior Design, Healthcare Facilities Studio. He earned
an MBA from the University of Chicago, M.S. in Health Services
Planning from Columbia, Master of Architecture and Urban Planning
from Princeton, and Bachelor of Architecture from the Illinois
Institute of Technology. Andrew is the president and founded
the firm in 1984. His responsibilities include the firm’s
strategic direction, development of new services for our clients
and mentoring junior and senior staff.
